Laboratory Session: Video Shoot at North Park Nature Center
Saturday, March 16, 1996. Today we went to North Park Nature Center where
we used the video cameras to record the work to restore an Oak Savanna.
In the restoration area, there were brush piles where the buckthorn that
had invaded the area was stacked after it was cut down. In the areas where
work has not been done, the buckthorn was a wall of sticks two stories high.
Finding a special tree and naming it the "Therese and Gerry tree."
Trying to see through the video lens.
Trying to see the connections: tree and bough, how the sap runs from
the Maple trees.
